Essentially, this method is like mowing with an oversized lawn mower. It can mow down anything 3'“ in diameter or smaller. The downside to this method is the root systems are not removed, and small stems ranging from 1-5 inches in height are left behind depending on the thickness of the vegetation. This method is best for landowners who want their land to look better without the price tag of other, more tedious methods. We have seen this method typically used by investors to get their land ready to sell. We like to say it is easier to sell land when you can actually walk it. We have also seen this method used by developers. That is the story for this job we are showcasing on this page. The owner/developer of this 17-acre property on HWY 6 had three problems. First, he needed to be able to walk his property with bankers and investors to secure some funding for his multi-million dollar mega project. The problem was he couldn’t get too deep before hitting 8-10 foot walls of brush. Second, he needed it done quickly. Last but not least, the third problem was he needed it done affordably. Luckily for him, we had the solution to all his problems. This project took our team roughly 4 days to complete. We had some minor breakdowns and a few run-ins with some beehives, but we got the job done in no time.
